LWD is giving you the chance to win a family ticket to one of the UK’s most uplifting and inclusive community events.
Parallel Windsor returns to the ancient oak tree lined avenues of Windsor Great Park on July 5 and you, and your family, could be there to enjoy the challenge events and Festival of Inclusivity.
Set against the iconic backdrop of the Long Walk and Windsor Castle, the event’s mantra of ‘Start Together, Finish Whenever’ perfectly embodies its ethos: everyone is welcome, and no one is left behind.
Whatever your level of fitness or mobility you can join in to run, walk, wander, push or pull for 100m, 1k, 5k or 10k along courses to suit all abilities.
The popular SuperSensory event is also back. An innovative sensory experience designed for neurodivergent participants and people with profound and multiple learning disabilities, featuring challenges that engage sound, taste, touch and smell.
At the heart of the event is the Festival of Inclusivity, including live music and performances, arts & crafts and storytelling zones, inclusive sport and adaptive activities, wellbeing and mindfulness areas, cookery demos, picnic zones and world food stalls and quiet and sensory spaces for anyone needing calm or respite.
The winner of our free to enter prize draw will receive a family ticket for the challenge events, entry to Festival of Inclusivity and onsite parking.
