World Para Athletics Championships

Dan Pembroke and Anna Nicholson (pictured above) have been named as the Novuna GB & NI team co-captains for the World Para Athletics Championships that start this week (September 27) in New Delhi, India.

Keeping with tradition, the pair were voted for by their GB & NI teammates.

Dan, the two-time Paralympic Champion, will be aiming to retain his World title in the F13 javelin for a third time.

Anna, who won bronze at the Paris Paralympics in the F35 shot put, will be competing in her third World Championships.

The co-captains will be part of a 37 strong team in Delhi that features a wealth of experience and youth hoping to medal.
