The Last Laugh

A play which imagines three of Britain’s all-time greatest comedy heroes discussing the secrets of life, death, comedy and what it means to be funny, is just one of the highlights of the new winter season at Chichester Festival Theatre in West Sussex.
Written and directed by Paul Hendy, The Last Laugh is a poignant, nostalgic, warm and funny look behind the scenes as comedy legends Tommy Cooper, Eric Morecambe and Bob Monkhouse come together in their dressing room to share stories and of course their best jokes.
Starring Damian Williams as Cooper, Simon Cartwright as Monkhouse and Steve Royle as Morecambe, this heartfelt celebration of a golden age of British entertainment will be in Chichester from November 3 to 7 and includes two touch tour / audio described performances (November 6 and 7).
