The British Parking Association (BPA) has announced that the Motor Neurone Disease Association is to be its new official charity partner.
This decision reflects the collective commitment of BPA members to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by motor neurone disease (MND), a progressive and ultimately fatal condition that affects the brain and nerves.
The MND Association provides essential care, research funding, and advocacy for individuals living with MND and their families across the UK.
"We are honoured to begin this new partnership with the MND Association,” said Dave Smith, BPA Head of Marketing and Events.
“The BPA community is passionate about using its voice and resources for positive impact, and we believe our collaboration with the Association will help raise crucial awareness and funds for a cause that touches so many lives."
Throughout the partnership, BPA will work closely with the Association to organise fundraising campaigns, events, and awareness initiatives across the parking and mobility services sector.
The charity was selected following a member vote, with the Association receiving the highest level of support among shortlisted organisations.
"We’re thrilled to be chosen as the BPA’s charity partner,” said Libby Hannelle, Relationship Fundraiser at the MND Association.
“With their support, we can continue to push forward our mission to improve care, fund research, and campaign for those living with MND. This partnership will help bring us closer to a world free from MND."
