Start Together, Finish Whenever

A national inclusive sports event and festival of inclusivity is to take place for the first time in the historic royal Windsor Great Park.

Living with Disability is proud to be a media partner for Parallel’s new flagship summer event, which will take place on Sunday July 2.

Whatever your level of fitness the event has been specially designed for people to start together but finish whenever, and to support a more inclusive world where everyone has the confidence to move more.

You can book now to join in and run, walk, wander, push or pull along Windsor Great Park’s stunning Long Mile in a truly inclusive event – with courses from 100m to 10k.

One of the exciting new features is the SuperSensory 1k, supporting neurodiverse people with profound and multiple learning disabilities to exercise their senses over a series of challenges, such as responding to sound, taste, and touch.

Entry to the event will also include an inclusive family festival with music performances from acts including singer/songwriter James Holt, The Adult Autistic Choir and Bader’s Big Band, a charity village, interactive games and sports, arts and crafts, storytelling, skills and careers and food and drink from around the world.
