Disability Expo on July 6 and 7 at London’s ExCeL will be Europe’s largest event for disabled people by disabled people.
The one-of-a-kind experience will bring together a vibrant community of individuals, organisations, and innovators committed to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities.
Here are some of the latest updates on the event and a taste of what you can expect.
On the main stage there will be a vast range of entertainment and inclusive content, including comedy, dance, music, cooking and fashion.
Powered by Adapt-IT, the Gaming Zone will allow delegates to trial the latest assistive gaming technology, with multiple gaming areas to support differing levels and types of disability.
You’ll be able to enter competitions, watch Twitch streamers and test your skills against the best retro games or modern titles. Delegates can pre-book a gaming slot on the Disability Expo website www.thedisabilityexpo.com
The Have-A-Go Zone, sponsored by JD Group and in partnership with the charity Phab, will be full of fun and inclusive activities for everyone to try, including recently confirmed dance workshops with Kate Stanforth and Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures.
