Care Team Wins Top Award

A specialist residential home in East Sussex has been awarded Care Team of the Year at the inaugural Brighton & Hove Care Awards.  

The award recognises the exceptional commitment, expertise and compassion of the Vallance Gardens team, who support adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities and complex health needs.  

The judges praised Vallance Gardens for its exceptional specialist support, outstanding team culture and commitment to helping people live meaningful lives.

Their comments highlighted the team's expertise in supporting people with complex health needs, the positive outcomes achieved through person-centred approaches, and the strong, supportive environment created for both the people it supports and team members. 

The achievement follows an outstanding year for the home, including excellent quality assessment results, high team member retention and innovative approaches that help people live happy, healthy and meaningful lives. 

The team's person-centred approach has helped people achieve greater independence, access enriching experiences and reach important personal outcomes. Feedback from families and professionals has consistently highlighted the positive difference the team makes every day.
