Raising Awareness of Adaptive Driving Solutions

ree

A company specialising in accessible car adaptations for disabled drivers and passengers has announced a new partnership with Aspire, a national charity supporting people with spinal cord injuries.

Building on a shared commitment to accessibility, empowerment, and independence, Mobility in Motion has teamed up with Aspire to raise awareness of adaptive driving solutions and highlight the importance of mobility in life after a spinal cord injury.

The partnership follows a successful milestone in 2024, when Mobility in Motion sponsored Aspire’s 100th Channel swim, an achievement that celebrated the determination and resilience of Aspire’s fundraisers and the people they support.

Through expert-led content, lived experience stories, and informative resources, the partnership will help those with a spinal cord injury understand what’s possible when it comes to getting back on the road, regaining independence, and reclaiming everyday freedom whether as a driver or passenger.

“We’re incredibly excited to deepen our relationship with Aspire,” said Bruce Lauder, Head of Sales and Marketing at Mobility in Motion.

“There’s a real gap in knowledge around what driving and car travel looks like after a spinal cord injury and we’re here to help fill it. Together, we can empower more people to explore the freedom that adapted driving can provide.”
