Congratulations to Georgina Colman (pictured above) and Seth Richardson whose pioneering disability savings platform was recently recognised as one of the world's most innovative affiliate partners.
Purpl, the UK’s first money-saving platform built by disabled people, for disabled people, was selected for the prestigious Awin Power 100 list from a vast network of more than one million active partners in 35 countries.
Created to reduce the £1,095 average extra monthly costs associated with living with a disability or long-term health condition, Purpl offers discounts and exclusive offers across more than 330 brands to help members save money.
Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in her twenties, and later with ADHD, Purpl co-founder Georgina lived for years with the quiet, crushing anxiety of funding her own chronic illness.
The turning point for Georgina came during a simple shopping trip. While watching her son easily claim a student discount at the checkout, it hit her: society readily offers financial breaks for lifestyle choices like going to university, yet completely abandons those carrying the non-negotiable, crippling costs of a disability.
Refusing to accept a broken system, Georgina built the solution herself. She launched Purpl to bridge the gap between major brands and the £274 billion spending power of the disabled community.

Today, the platform has grown into a verified community of over 80,000 members who have collectively saved over £2 million, proving that inclusive business is not a charity initiative; it is essential.
Georgina uses her platform to raise awareness of the issues facing disabled consumers and fights to level the financial playing field.
“My dream has always been to help anyone who finds themselves facing the same terrifying financial hurdles I did upon my diagnosis,” said Georgina.
“The disabled community is filled with incredible resilience and undeniable brilliance, yet we are constantly forced to pay a premium just to exist. The Awin award makes me incredibly proud of our team and community because it shows that global brands are finally waking up to our value. This recognition isn't just a win for Purpl as a business; it is proof that we can change the system, demand better from the brands we shop with, and build a fairer future.”
The Awin Power 100 list is an annual index curated by the global affiliate marketing platform to showcase the top 100 most innovative and successful publisher, creator, and technology partners on its network.
