Five times Paralympic gold medallist Ellie Simmonds OBE will attend Parallel Windsor’s celebration of inclusivity event this Sunday (July 2).
As headline sponsor of the award-winning event Sure Deodorant UK will bring Ellie to the historic Long Walk in the Windsor Great Park for the series of inclusive sports events and festival of inclusivity.
And as a top 10 Disability Power 100 list changemaker herself, former Paralympic swimmer Ellie will be able to perfectly influence the Parallel ethos of ‘Start Together; Finish Whenever’.
Participants of all ages, health conditions and abilities can run, walk, wander, push or pull along courses from 100m to 10k – with or without the help of mobility aids and with no cut off times.
Ellie is Programme Brand Ambassador for Sure’s Breaking Limits Programme, which aims to break down barriers standing in the way of movement, through digital training for coaches and teachers and providing access to safe spaces for practicing sport.
She will be talking about the programme in the Sure Active Lifestyle Zone at the event and there will also be an opportunity to meet Ellie at the Sure stand and take part in a Q&A.
