LWD Award Winners Announced

The latest issue of Living with Disability is now available online.

With inspiring stories of personal challenges and triumphs, opportunities to get involved in sport, accessible events and travel, new innovations and employment and education initiatives, there’s something for everyone.

Including a profile of the winners in all seven categories of the LWD Awards.

“I would like to thank all the individuals, charities and organisations that entered as they all worthy of acclaim,” said LWD Editor Clive Davis.

“They represent a narrative that refuses to be defined by limitation. Instead, they redefine possibility; on their own terms, in their own way, and often against odds that many would find overwhelming.

“By celebrating the winners in LWD, we can amplify voices that deserve to be heard.

“Like our Charity of the Year award winner, Oceans of Hope UK, which is transforming the lives of people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) by using sailing as a powerful tool for empowerment, confidence and community.”
