Live to Your Living Room

This week’s Live to Your Living Room’s gig is on Friday (November 8) featuring folk legend John Tams.

John’s work has spanned six decades in every performance medium. His performance backstory includes Muckram Wakes, The Albion Band, Home Service and his duo with Barry Coope.

He’s also known for his work with The National Theatre (War Horse), as well as having credits on television (Sharpe) and radio (The Radio Ballads) and playing on stages throughout the UK and across the world.

John is a recognised authority on vernacular music – a seven times winner at the BBC Folk Awards. He has made more than 60 albums and continues to tour festival and concert stages.

To watch John live at St Andrew’s Church in Sheffield (7.30pm BST/doors at 7.15pm) or opt-in to receive a recording of the gig, available for 72 hours, visit https://livetoyourlivingroom.com/ for details.

Launched by Cat McGill and fellow musician, producer and educator Pete Ord, Live to your Living Room delivers the very best of the folk, roots, and acoustic music scene live to your home.

Great for anyone who can’t get to gigs because of their disability, insurmountable problems in getting there, just too ill or, as is the case with autistic people, completely out of their comfort zone in a social setting.
