Live to Your Living Room

Settle back and relax in the comfort of your own living room for a live music gig.

Live to Your Living Room welcomes the Godfather of English folk – Martin Carthy MBE - on June 12 for the launch of his latest album, ‘Transform Me Then Into a Fish’.

Featuring newly recorded arrangements ‘Transform Me Then Into a Fish’ revisits Martin’s iconic 1965 album, with fresh interpretations of well-loved standards that have made him such a defining force in the world of folk music.

Martin came to prominence in the early 1960s as a key member of the folk revival movement – his arrangement of Scarborough Fair famously influencing Simon and Garfunkel’s own version.

The evening will include a performance by Fylingdales Folk Choir, Ian Clayton in conversation with Martin, and a performance by Martin, Eliza Carthy, and Sheema Mukherjee.

To watch the show live or opt-in to receive a recording of the gig, available for 72 hours, visit https://livetoyourlivingroom.com/ for details.

Live to Your Living Room delivers the very best of the folk, roots, and acoustic music scene live to your home, great for anyone who can’t get to gigs because of their disability, insurmountable problems in getting there, just too ill or, as is the case with autistic people, completely out of their comfort zone in a social setting.
