Fun New Physio Aid Wins LWD Innovation Award

Congratulations to Katie Michaels, the founder of Moti Me, who has won LWD’s Innovation Award.

Moti Me combines physiotherapy principles with interactive play to encourage children with additional needs to move, reach, and explore.

Using animal characters, colourful lights and dozens of mini games to develop movement and build strength and mobility, 27-year-old Katie has set out to reimagine how therapeutic movement could be delivered in a fun way.

Successfully tested by more than 100 children with a broad range of additional needs and across 30+ healthcare organisations nationwide, Moti Me is now completing regulatory compliance testing and preparing to manufacture its first medical device, Moti Me BUDDY.

By transforming at-home therapy into something playful and enjoyable, Moti Me BUDDY has the potential to improve everyday lives and support more children in reaching their full potential.
