Frozen Light creates exciting and original multi-sensory theatre for audiences with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD).
It creates theatre you can touch, theatre you can smell, theatre that happens during intimate one to one interaction, theatre that is collective.
Audiences are limited to just six people aged 16 or over, individuals with PMLD and their carers, friends, or family. Multi-sensory performances last for approximately 60 minutes and there is lots of one-to-one interaction with audience members.
Frozen Light’s performances are totally relaxed, meaning audience members can move around the performance space, watch the show from the back of the room or on the stage, make noise throughout the show, come and go as they please, eat, drink and of course have fun.
Its latest show, ‘The Bar at the Edge of Time’, is currently touring nationwide.
