Community Groups Invited to use Hydrotherapy Pool

One of the UK's leading providers of specialist support for people with learning disabilities, autistic people and those with complex needs, is taking community bookings for its specialist hydrotherapy pool and activity space.

Achieve together opened The Third Space to support the wellbeing, independence and personal development of people across Sussex last year.

Since then, it has become a valued community hub, providing opportunities for people to connect, learn new skills and enjoy activities in a fully accessible environment.

Now, community groups, charities, support organisations and care providers across Sussex can also access the facilities in Brighton.

The Third Space includes a specialist hydrotherapy pool, designed to support physical wellbeing, mobility and relaxation, alongside a flexible activity space that can be used for workshops, training sessions, support groups and inclusive community events.

The purpose-built facility has been carefully designed to ensure people of all abilities feel welcome, comfortable and supported. The warm water hydrotherapy pool has been created to support relaxation, movement and sensory regulation and wellbeing for people with a wide range of physical, sensory and cognitive needs.

"We're delighted to open The Third Space to the wider Brighton and wider Sussex community,” said Vicky Attenborough, Operations Director - South, Achieve together.

“From the outset, we wanted to create a space where people could come together, build connections and access opportunities that support their health and wellbeing.

"We've seen first-hand the positive difference the hydrotherapy pool and activity space have made to people we support. By opening bookings to community organisations, we hope even more people can benefit from this unique and inclusive facility."

The launch reflects Achieve together's ongoing commitment to helping people live happy, healthy and meaningful lives. Through person-centred support and strong community partnerships, Achieve together empowers people to build confidence, develop independence and achieve their goals.

The Third Space is available for hydrotherapy and wellbeing sessions, support groups, inclusive activities, training events and community gatherings, providing access to specialist facilities that can make a real difference to people's lives.
