A UK leader in specialist postural seating and mobility solutions has announced the launch of a new postural seating course.

Active Design has put together the one-day course to support healthcare professionals in advancing their knowledge and skills in postural care.

The course builds on Active Design's longstanding reputation for delivering high-quality education, having previously been known for its respected Chailey Approach to Postural Management training.

A free pilot session of the new programme will run on October 23 at the Active Design headquarters in Birmingham.

Active Design plans to roll out additional sessions in 2026, with opportunities for occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to attend.

The course will cover key topics including assessment, positioning, intervention strategies, and equipment solutions, supported by practical demonstrations using the company's market-leading seating systems.
