Businesses and organisations across the UK are hosting a series of events today (November 4) to celebrate Purple Tuesday, the global initiative to improve the customer experience for disabled people and their families.   There are 16 million disabled people in the UK  ( 24% of the population or one in five of us), whilst 80% have a disabled friend or relative ,  so improved accessibility is good for business and should matter to everyone.   Now in its eighth-year, Purple Tues
