Wilde’s Trivial Comedy for Serious People

An integrated cast of disabled and non-disabled actors are to stage Oscar Wilde’s classic play ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’.

Following an acclaimed run at the Chelsea Theatre, the satirical tale of Victorian society’s obsession with social status, marriage and superficiality, will be performed from August 15-17 at St Paul’s Church (The Actors’ Church), London.

Staged by Mark Beer’s Dramaiocht Productions, this charming, funny, tongue-in-cheek adaptation speaks to society now almost as much as when it was written in the 1890’s.
