For the first time ever, official ParalympicsGB fan zones are being set up across the UK.
Each free to enter accessible fan zone will be open daily from August 28 until September 8, showing live sporting action from the Paralympics on big screens every day as the Games unfold.
All the fan zones will be curated and managed by Ocean Outdoor in partnership with ParalympicsGB and will include a programme of special events, activities, competitions, promotions and guest athlete appearances.
A total of six fan screenings will be held at Battersea Power Station, London SW11 8DD, Westfield Square, Westfield London W12 7SL, Liverpool ONE, Chavasse Park L1 8JQ, Cabot Circus, Bristol BS1 3BD, Westquay, Southampton SO15 1QF and Bullring & Grand Central, Birmingham B5 4BU.
“Few things can match the thrill of watching live sport with friends and family, and these fan zones will give people the chance to celebrate the brilliance of ParaylmpicsGB athletes in a way that brings people together,” said David Clarke, CEO of ParalympicsGB.
“These trailblazing fan zones show how far the Paralympic movement has come and I am confident there will be countless moments of sporting drama to unite and inspire the nation during Paris 2024.”
