London’s favourite half marathon has opened its highly anticipated public ballot.
So, this is your chance to secure a coveted place in next year's much-loved London Landmarks Half Marathon (LLHM), which welcomes a limited number of wheelchair participants and other runners with disabilities, including visually impaired runners.
To enter, simply click https://llhm.co.uk/ballot-27 to enter before 12 noon on June 23 when the ballot closes. Lucky runners will be advised by email later in the summer.
Over the past decade, more than 100,000 runners have taken on the unique route through the heart of London, passing some of London’s most iconic landmarks and best sights along the way.
Together, they have raised over £88,000,000 for hundreds of worthy causes since the inaugural race in 2014.
Organised by Tommy’s, the UK’s largest pregnancy and baby charity, the London Landmarks Half Marathon is 100% not for profit, with every step taken contributing to supporting the work of Tommy’s and over 700 benefiting charities.
“Every year I can’t imagine LLHM being any better than the last, but it always surpasses my expectations,” said Lia Fyles, London Landmarks Half Marathon Race Director.
“I’m so excited for 2027 and the 10th Edition. This is a huge milestone for LLHM and one not to be missed, especially as we will exceed the cumulative £100,000,000 fundraising milestone since the race started.
“It will be a celebration of everything that has made LLHM special so far - the incredible fundraising, our inspiring community and heartwarming shared experience of running together through the streets of London. I’m proud of everything that LLHM represents and can’t wait to see the thousands of people from all walks of life join us on the start line next year.”
Enter the ballot for a chance to be part of the 10th edition of this colourful celebration of running, joining 21,500 people as they start by Downing Street to take on the 13.1 mile course on April 4, 2027. Run through historic Westminster, past Big Ben then along the Thames Embankment towards the City to take in ‘the grand, the quirky and the hidden’ of London.
You’ll pass landmarks such as the Gherkin, and the Tower of London, enjoy experiences like the Roman Reception at Guildhall Yard and the beloved West End Show choir at the It’s Showtime activation, then head back towards Trafalgar Square for a triumphant finish under Nelson’s Column and a warm welcome by the iconic Chelsea Pensioners and Pearly Kings and Queens of London.
The main ballot is free to enter and no payment is required. You can also choose to pay your entry fee upfront and donate it to Tommy’s, the pregnancy and baby charity that proudly organises the London Landmarks Half Marathon.
By donating your entry fee upfront, you will unlock access to the exclusive Second Chance Ballot, boosting your chances of securing a place in LLHM 2027.
