Live to Your Living Room’s next gig is on Friday (October 18) featuring Rachael McShane & The Cartographers live from Downend Folk & Roots.
Rachael McShane is a renowned folk singer, cellist, fiddle and viola player from the Northeast of England. She gained fame as an original member of the award-winning folk big band Bellowhead, touring with them extensively and making a number of television appearances.
She also is the leader of The Cartographers, a band that features the exceptional talents of guitarist Ian Stephenson and melodeon player Julian Sutton.
Launched by Cat McGill and fellow musician, producer and educator Pete Ord, Live to your Living Room delivers the very best of the folk, roots, and acoustic music scene live to your home.
Great for anyone who can’t get to gigs because of their disability, insurmountable problems in getting there, just too ill or, as is the case with autistic people, completely out of their comfort zone in a social setting.
To watch Rachael McShane & The Cartographers live (8.00pm BST/doors at 7.30pm) or opt-in to receive a recording of the gig, available for 72 hours, visit https://livetoyourlivingroom.com/ for details.
