Awards to recognise outstanding achievements in the sight loss sector

Nominations have opened for the Royal National Institute of Blind People’s See Differently Awards 2024.

Building on the success of previous award ceremonies, the 2024 event will recognise and reward individuals and organisations taking positive action to improve the lives of blind and partially sighted people.

Nominations are now being sought from people across the UK and the award winners will be announced in May.

“RNIB’s See Differently Awards are an opportunity to shine a spotlight and celebrate how both big and small actions can create a more inclusive world for blind and partially sighted people,” said RNIB CEO Matt Stringer.

“Help us reward and share the wonderful stories of people using their time and skills to make change by nominating someone, or an organisation, that has made a meaningful impact for people living with sight loss.”

The RNIB See Differently Awards will recognise exceptional individuals and teams across seven categories: Campaigner of the Year, Eye Care Professional of the Year, Best Content Creator of the Year, Team of the Year, Employer of the Year, Volunteer of the Year and Design for Everyone Award.

To be eligible for an RNIB See Differently Award you must have worked on or provided support with something that has improved or enriched the life of someone with sight loss. You can either nominate yourself or be nominated by someone else. Download eligibility criteria and terms and conditions at www.rnib.org.uk/sdawards.

Completed entries must be submitted by Friday 2 February 2024. Nominations will be judged by a distinguished panel of content creators, journalists, sector leaders and people with lived experience.

If you have any questions, require help completing the nomination form or would like to receive the form in an alternative format, please email SeeDifferentlyAwards@rnib.org.uk.
