Staff at nudge Global are preparing to run London Landmarks Half Marathon on Sunday (April 2) in aid of the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB).
London based nudge Global, an impartial financial education company, has been inspired to join Team RNIB after partnering with the charity last year to provide people with sight loss access to financial education.
Eighteen employees at nudge will be running to support the charity’s work in transforming people’s understanding of sight loss and to help raise awareness of the challenges blind and partially sighted people face.
nudge and RNIB collaborated last year to ensure financial education was accessible and inclusive for all nudge users and to help people with sight loss develop the skills and knowledge to take control of their money.
“I have been absolutely amazed by how many nudgers have embraced this challenge,” said Tim Perkins, nudge co-founder.
“A half marathon is not easy but having fundraising dependent on it makes all the difference, particularly when the cause is so important to you. Our relationship with RNIB is very special so we're delighted to be able to help them in this way as you can by sponsoring us too.”
