A family-run national company specialising in accessible home adaptations has partnered with Parkinson’s UK.
EA Mobility, a company dedicated to enhancing independence and safety for individuals with mobility challenges, has committed to supporting Parkinson’s UK not only through services, but also through ongoing fundraising.
“As the founder of EA Mobility, I’m thrilled to partner with Parkinson’s s UK to empower people living with the condition to become more independent in their own home,” said Kevin Carvell.
“This collaboration is deeply personal to me; after my father became paralysed from a spinal cord tumour, I struggled to find the necessary support, inspiring me to establish this business.
EA Mobility’s safe, functional, and stylish home adaptations - from bathrooms and kitchens to wider accessibility solutions – are designed to improve the lives of people living with mobility challenges.
Recently, the EA Mobility team completed a seven-million-step challenge, raising £1,000 for the charity.
In addition, the company will donate 10% of its sales to Parkinson’s UK for every purchase made by people living with Parkinson’s, helping to support vital research and services.
As part of the partnership, EA Mobility is offering to visit local Parkinson’s UK support groups to share advice and answer questions about home adaptation options. They also provide a short video guide that highlights key considerations when adapting a bathroom for accessibility, which can be shown at group meetings.
“At Parkinson’s UK, we have a rigorous selection process to partner only with best-in-class companies,” said Sue Mills, Trading Manager at Parkinson’s UK.
“We’re proud to collaborate with EA Mobility, whose consistently high ratings as a Which? Trusted Trader for over seven years demonstrates their excellence. Their customer-centric approach ensures people living with Parkinson’s receive the best support and tailored solutions at every stage of the process.”
