BBC Lifeline Appeal Supports Guide Dogs Charity

Guide Dogs has been chosen to feature in the BBC’s first Lifeline Appeal of the year.

Lifeline aims to provide an opportunity for raising money and awareness to a variety of charities via a televised appeal.

Presented by actress and Guide Dogs Ambassador Wendi Peters (pictured above) the 10-minute film features the inspiring stories of Devante, Margaret and Eliza and can be watched on BBC iPlayer https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m001vw7c/lifeline-guide-dogs

“We’re so excited that the work of Guide Dogs is featured in the latest Lifeline Appeal,” said Andrew Lennox, Chief Executive Officer at Guide Dogs.

“This short film showcases the breadth of Guide Dogs’ services which support people with sight loss throughout their lives, from childhood to adulthood. Thank you to everyone who supports the appeal so we can continue our life-changing work.”

Every pound raised from the appeal will be matched by Guide Dogs’ corporate partner, Petplan, up to a maximum of £20,000.
